Two Architectural Firms Merge Together

Posted on Monday, November 12th, 2012 at 4:16 pm

Two architecture firms that have been competing with each other for quite some time have now decided to merge together. The two firms, James Childs Architects and Architecture Design Group will not join together in order to form the Alliance Architects.

The two firms have been discussing the idea of merging for over a year and both felt that this merger could help them increase the staff’s experience, development and help them grow. The firm also stated that this merger could help them diversify the type of projects that they take on.

Company officials stated that the new name was chosen in order to illustrate the ‘collaborative nature’ of the new company. The staff will completely merge together for a total of 21 people and operations will be done at the current building for James Childs Architects.

As of right now, Alliance is practicing in seven states across the nation, but they intend to keep their roots local. The firm has 17 registered and graduate architects.

While recruiting for the architecture industry, it may be difficult to determine which architect will have the style that is the best match for your firm. The fate of a building project relies heavily on finding the executives for the company, and this is why an executive recruitment firm may be the best bet.

Skills that are sought for when looking to fill in executive position in the architecture industry are having an education in architecture, mathematical skills, computer knowledge, experience in conducting these large projects, and management experience.

Finding the perfect fit for the job, can be a time-consuming process, and instead of using your company’s resources to do this, enlisting the help of an executive recruitment firm may be very beneficial to help you find the right architect for your company.
